Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus has been creating and breaking records ever since it hit the theatres. The multi-starrer is performing very well both in the domestic and overseas markets.
It has gone past 250 Cr nett mark in the domestic market recently and still raking in crores on daily basis. It was reported that it has earned over 21 crores from the UAE alone which speaks volumes about its performance in the international territories.

Crosses 450 crores Worldwide
Recently, Deadline reported that PS-1 has grossed 450 crores gross mark at the box office worldwide and now the makers have also confirmed the same. Taking to Twitter, Lyca Productions has confirmed that PS-1 has grossed over 450 crores, globally by releasing the motion poster of the same.
The tweet reads, “history in the making…PS1 hits a staggering over 450 crores at the box office” thanking the audience they further wrote, “thank you for all the love and support”

Box Office Collection Day 20
PS1 has shown growth in advance bookings. It draws 82.27L from the ticket sales for Day 20, of which 73.8L came in from Tamil, over 3.8L from Hindi, 3.4L from Telugu, and around 82000 came in from Malayalam.
As per the early trade estimations, PS-1 adds another 1.50 crores more to its cash registers taking the total domestic collections to over Rs 252 crores, all versions.
PS-1 is performing very well in its dubbed versions, especially the Hindi versions, it has clocked in over 21 crores, so far. It has already crossed the Vikram, Beast, Valimai, Sita Ramam, 777-Charlie, and Vikrant Rona lifetime bizz in the Hindi belt emerging as one of the best-performing dubbed films in the northern belt.
It is now eyeing Rocketry-Hindi (Rs 26.05 Cr) bizz at the box office.
