Tollywood superstar and Baahubali fame Prabhas and dusky beauty Pooja Hegde starrer long awaited period romantic drama film Radhe Shyam is all set to go digital after hitting the theaters.
Directed and written by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film was shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. The Telugu version was backed by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series films while the Telugu version was produced by Vamsi, Pramod and Praseedha under the banner of UV Creations.
On the technical front, Manoj Paramahamsa handled the cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handled the editing work. It also has two soundtracks; The Telugu version was composed by Justin Prabhakaran and the Hindi version was composed by Mithoon, Amaal Malik, and Manan Bhardwaj.

This long-awaited epic drama film is all set to have its post-theatrical release. The film had already seen the digital release on Friday, April 1 on Amazon Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.
While the film has been released in all the South Indian languages, the Hindi viewers were waiting for a while to enjoy the digital streaming of the film. Now the wait is over as Netflix has locked the premiere date for the Hindi version on ‘4 May 2022’.

Radhe Shyam Reviews
The film opened to mixed reviews from critics as well as the public. On one side production value and the performance of the star cast was appreciated but on the other side it was heavily criticized for its screenplay and narration.
Popular newspapers like Times of India, Deccan Chronicle, India Herald gave the film 2.5/5 along with India Today. Some of the critics describe the film as one of those big budget attempts that is highly ambitious and silly at the same time.

The Pan India film was released on Friday, March 11, 2022 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam dubbed versions along with Hindi and Telugu languages. It had a direct clash at Box office with filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files.
On opening day, the film grossed Rs. 70 crore worldwide, and managed to collect Rs. 151 Crore on the opening weekend. However, it had a huge dip on Monday with Rs. 1.5 crore (nett), as TKF wave hit Prabhas’s big budget movie.
The show had been drastically reduced for the film as a bulk of screens were allocated to TKF, a low budget film which has grossed so far against an estimated budget of Rs. 14 Crore Rs. 231.28 Crore. On the other hand Radhe Shyam has grossed Rs. 214 Crore against a huge budget of Rs. 300-350 Crore
About the Film
Set in Europe of the 1970s, the film revolves around a renowned palmist named Vikramaditya, who believes that he is not destined for love but at some point falls in love with a doctor, Prerna Chakraborty. He predicts a long and bright future for her lady love but it looks like love will not come his way that easily and there is something else in store for him.
This big budget movie failed to give what fans expect but some called it beautiful love story drama. An ardent fan of Prabhas, named Ravi Teja committed suicide as Radhe Shyam received negative reviews. According to some media sources, Ravi told his mother about the film’s reviews before he hung himself at his residence.
