The ongoing season of Bigg Boss, which started with 16 contestants, is facing massive uproar and criticism on social media due to one of its contestants. We are talking about Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Khan, who was accused of sexual harassment by many women from the film fraternity during the #MeToo wave, including Saloni Chopra, Aahana Kumar, Rachel White, Mandana Karimi, and many others.
The accused filmmaker hasn’t been getting any work in the film industry for the last four years due to the serious allegations against him. His entry into the show has left social media divided.
On one hand, people are criticising Colors TV and the show’s makers for their decision to bring Sajid Khan on the show to whitewash his image, while some people are openly supporting him, stating he has all the rights to be part of the show. Drama queen Rakhi Sawant is also speaking in favour of Sajid nowadays.
Rakhi Sawant Supports Sajid Khan’s Presence in BB 16
Rakhi Sawant, who is known as the queen of controversy, has also come out in support of the accused filmmaker. Ever since the issue has come into the limelight, Rakhi has been supporting Sajid’s entry into the show.
In her recent viral video, she said that Bigg Boss is made of people like Sajid Khan, and he has all right to be in the show, as people who are controversial are apt for the show. She further said that actress Mandana Karimi, who is also one of the accusers of Sajid, was also a part of one of the seasons of Bigg Boss.
Rakhi Calls Sajid a “Rockstar”
In the same video, Rakhi says that Sajid is playing really well in the show and that he is a rockstar. In her other video, Rakhi can be heard saying that if the whole world goes against Sajid, she will support Sajid Khan because he hasn’t been proved guilty of the accusations against him yet.
During a media interaction, she also said that everyone should check the backgrounds of all the accusers. She further said that all these accusers are the ones who can go to an extent to get signed in films. Her remark itself has created another controversy and is being criticised by netizens on social media.
