Ram Setu is the biggest Diwali release movie this year, the film opened to mixed response from the critics and took an average start at the box office. However, it has emerged as the best opener for Akshay Kumar after Sooryavanshi post-pandemic.
On the other, it faced a clash with Ajay Devgn-Siddharth Malhotra starrer Thank God, the latter opened to mixed reviews from the critics and needs to hold well in the weekdays to reach the lifetime near 100 crores.

Box Office Collection Day 2
As per the early trade estimations, Ram Setu collects in the range of 10.5-11 crores on Day 2, it is a drop of 30%. The second day of the film is better than day 1 of Akshay’s recent releases. With this, the total two days collection of the film will go past 25 crores at the box office.
It needs to maintain the same momentum till Sunday to become a 100-crore affair.
Advance Bookings Report Day 2
If advance bookings reports are anything to go by then the Akshay starrer will touch the double-digit on the second day as well. It sold over 62000 tickets for day 2 from the advance ticket bookings, it is worth Rs 1.55 crores. It had sold over 93000 tickets on day 1 from advance bookings.

Despite the below-par numbers, Ram Setu emerged as the second-best performer on day 1 for Akshay post-pandemic. It is directed and written by Abhishek Sharma and bankrolled by Aruna Bhati and Vikram Malhotra. Along with Akshay, it features Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Satyadev Kancharana in key roles.
