Tamil Actor Sibi Sathyaraj’s most awaited action thriller film titled Ranga, which is directed as well as written by Vinod D.L. has finally got its release date. It is backed by producer Vijay K. Celliah under his Boss Movies. Vijay Kanth is serving as the executive producer of the film.
The technical crew of the film includes Arvi, who is serving as cinematographer, Antony L. Ruben is taking care of the editing work while the film’s music and background score is composed by Ramjeevan. Lyrics for the songs are penned by Thamarai, Vivek, Munna Shakath Ali.
Arun Shankar Durai is handling the art department, choreography is done by Dastha and Viji. Dilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan are taking care of action sequences.
Ranga Release Date Out
Vinod DL log delayed directorial has finally got a new release date, after being postponed multiple times. The film was earlier set to be released in February 2020 before being delayed to December 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the makers of the movie announced the release date, and it is decided that the film will be released theatrically on May 13, 2022 worldwide.

Ranga Star Cast
- Actor Sibi Sathyaraj, who is the son of Kollywood’s veteran actor Sathyaraj is playing the male lead in the film. The actor previously appeared in many movies like Jore (2004), Mannin Maindhan (2005), Vetrivel Sakthivel (2005), Kovai Brothers (2006) etc. Also, the actor has films like Ranger and Vattam in different stages of production.
- Actress Nikhila Vimal, who went on to appear in super hit films like Kidaari (2016), Aravindante Athidhikal (2018), Njan Prakashan (2018), Mera Naam Shaji (2019) is the female lead of the film and playing Sibi’s love interest
- The film also features prominent actors like Sathish, Sujatha Babu, Sara, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Renuka, Mohnish Rahega and Jeeva Ravi in pivotal roles.
Ranga Teaser
The teaser of this most-awaited action entertainer was released way back on August 28, 2019. The 1.5 minute long teaser of the film, launched by actor Sivakarthikeyan on twitter, starts with a voiceover “Your Life is over”.
The teaser is packed with action sequences in various locations including Kashmir, and we can see the valley covered with snow. It also shows some romantic scenes between Sibi and Nikhila. Although it doesn’t reveal much about the film, we can say that the film has the potential to impress the audience.
