The controversial director RGV is again in news nowadays, this time the director made the headlines owing to the postponement of his anticipated film Dangerous, which was to release in theatres on April 8.
Let us inform you, that the reason behind the postponement is not the censor board or fear of the release of any big-ticket film but the exhibitors who have refused to showcase the film.
As per the makers, theatres have refused to screen the film as the theme of the film is lesbian, now it is interesting as the film has been passed by the censor board with ‘A’ certification, recently.
RGV’s Reply on the matter
Enraged by the non-cooperation of the theatres, RGV took to Twitter and accuse the cinema chains PVR and INOX of their LGBT stand, in one of his tweets RGV also wrote that this was an insult to the human rights. The director has been urging everyone to stand up against the management of the cinema chains.

New Release Date?
Dangerous which was supposed to be released in theatres in five languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam was later put off by the makers, RGV took to Twitter announcing the same, the director wrote that they are postponing the film in the wake of non-cooperation of many theatres, he further wrote that they will fight and then arrive with the new release date.

RGV also released a video talking about Dangerous postponement, he is seen stating that he has shown the love and thoughts about a lesbian couple in his film since the supreme court has repealed section 377.

RGV directorial will be released in Hindi as Khatra/Dangerous, in Tamil as Kaadhal Kaadhaldhaam, and in Telugu as Maa Ishtam, the
film stars, Naina Ganguly and Apsara Rani in the titular roles. The trailer was recently unveiled on Varma’s YouTube platform, the trailers have gone viral on the internet following the intimate hot scenes between the actress.
