India’s one of most versatile actors, R. Madhavan starrer biographical drama film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was released in theaters at the start of this month.
Based on the life of former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely charged of espionage, the highly-anticipated the directorial debut of Madhavan, who along with playing the lead role, has also written, directed and co-produced the film.
The film opened to generally positive response from critics with all praises for Madhavan for his noble intention, performance and screenplay. It shows how the government and senior authorities destroy the life of one of the greatest geniuses that country ever has, by falsely accusing him of spying.
Rocketry Hindi OTT Release Date
The film was released theatrically on July 1, 2022 and before that it also had a premiere at the Cannes Film Festivals on May 19, 2022. Now the film has made its debut on digital platforms.
Popular OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. It premieres on July 26, 2022 in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. So, it is the best opportunity for those who missed the movie in the theatre.
Hindi audiences waited for few days more but the film is now streaming on Voot Select from 29th of July, receiving so much:

Rocketry Hindi Belt Collection
Talking about the Hindi belt, it has been receiving an amazing response from here and people are seen encouraging their knowns to go and watch the movie. Coming to the box office, as per Bollywood Hungama, it earns Rs 1.25 Cr on the first day, 2.50 Cr on day 2 and Rs 3.75 Cr on the third day, making the first weekend collections Rs 12.49 Cr.
Maddy starrer accumulated Rs 20.47 crores from the Hindi circuit in just 3 weeks, and as per the trade experts, it will see a lifetime of Rs 30 Cr at the end of its theatrical run, here.
