After dethroning Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar on Day 13 and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Day 14 from the list of highest-grossing Indian films of all time, Rajamouli’s magnum opus is now the third-highest Indian grosser film ever.

Though RRR is still far behind to cross the lifetime biz of Baahubali 2 (Rs 1810 Cr), and might not be able to cross that mammoth total, the film has shown its capacity by breaking many records, from becoming the highest day 1 grosser in India to find a position in the list of highest-grossing films, the film has come a long way.
Rajamouli would be satisfied with the performance of his magnum opus at the box office, as both of his films Baahubali2 and RRR are in the top 3 of the highest-grossing list.
Now the film has free four days to earn whatever extra it can get until KGF 2 storm arrives at the cinema halls, the film has been doing steady business at the box office north for the past three weekdays.
The period action film accumulated more footfalls on Saturday and Sunday as compared to the prior two days. It earned Rs 7.50 Cr nett in Hindi on Saturday.

Rajamouli has done it again, RRR has crossed the mammoth Rs 1000 Cr mark on Saturday itself, and with collecting Rs 23 Cr gross on Saturday the film now reaches the Rs 1000 Cr worldwide mark.
Now, RRR becomes Rajamouli’s second film to cross Rs 1000 Cr, after the Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2.
