Rajmouli’s period action flick is still not in a mood to stop, as the film currently battling with Jersey, the monster KGF 2, and being screened on the limited screens despite all blockades the film still reigns.
The battle between the two big-ticket south Indian films seems interesting nowadays at the box office, though RRR was released 20 days ahead of KGF2, the tussle between the two to become the highest grosser is becoming more riveting day by day.
It will be interesting to see who will become the highest grosser at the end, currently, RRR by taking around Rs 150 Cr lead is heading ahead of KGF 2, the former is still churning out in crores while the latter is having its bull run at the BO currently.
RRR in a 34-day theatrical run has accumulated around Rs 1115.50 Cr gross worldwide and is the third highest-grossing film of all time behind Baahubali2 (Rs 1810 Cr) and Dangal (Rs 2024 Cr).
It seems impossible for RRR to fetch the collections of the latter two unless the film releases in China, which will not be possible as the film is about the two Indian revolutionaries which Chinese authorities will not allow to showcase in their country.
However, talking about the collections, Rajamouli’s RRR is still doing well in India and raking in crores on daily basis, it is expected to collect around Rs 1.25 Cr on Thursday making the total collection Rs 1116.50 crores Gross**
Going by the early trends the multi-starrer will collect around Rs 50 lakhs on Day 35 similar to Day 34 taking the total collections to Rs 264 crores**.
