Rajamouli’s magnum opus after raking in Rs 132.59 Cr on its one-week theatrical run, the film continues to amass footfalls at the ticket windows in huge numbers.
The epic action film is not showing any sign to slow down in the second week also, on its second Friday or Day 8 with a growth rate of 12.50% compared to the Thursday collection, it minted Rs 13.50 Cr in Hindi.
The total 8-day BOC of this multi starrer film has reached Rs 146.09 Cr, the film is now only around Rs 34 Cr behind, crossing its break-even point of Rs 180 Cr.
RRR seems soon fetch these figures after that the film would be in the profit phase, if it collects Rs 200 Cr, it will be considered a clean hit, and if mints Rs 220 Cr mark, then it be considered a superhit in Hindi.
Recently the film stirs controversy when John Abraham is being asked about working on south Indian films, the actor had replied that he will not do any regional film as he is a Hindi film hero, he further went on to say, ” “I am Not Going To Do a Telugu or Any Regional Film Like Other Actors Just to be In That Business”
Well, John’s statement seems to ruffle the feathers of south Indian fans, and they have been trolling John since Attack did a disastrous opening, RRR fever stopped the The Kashmir Files to score in big numbers and now Attack is another victim.
However, Rajamouli’s directorial has shown strong growth in its BOC, it accumulated around Rs 16 Cr on Saturday or Day 9.
