Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu who had made headlines during the farmer’s protest 2021, his last film Saad Aale will be released in cinemas soon. The actor has died in a car crash in Feb 2022.
The upcoming Punjabi film Saade Aale is a long-awaited film, directed by Jatinder Muhar and bankrolled by Sumeet Singh & Mandeep Singh under the banner Saga Studios in association with Bathinde Wale Bai Films.

Deep Sidhu starrer was the second Punjabi movie that represent the Pollywood industry at the Cannes film festival in 2018 after Satinder Sartaj’s The Black Prince. After pushing back the release date from 2018 many times owing to a covid pandemic, makers are now all set to release the film on 29 April 2022 worldwide.

Saade Aale Story
Saade Aale which means Our Own in English delves into love and vengeance, Deep Sidhu is playing the main lead role as Manjeet, the film explores his friendship with Bikkar, whose families have a longstanding rivalry between them, further, when Bikkar dies abruptly, his family blames Manjeet for killing Bikkar, what happens next? forms the rest of the story.

Most of the shooting took place in Bathinda, Punjab, earlier it was scheduled to release in 2018, then pushed back to Jan 2020, and finally, the makers announced that the film will be released theatrically worldwide on 29 April 2022. The Trailer of the film is expected to release soon.

The story of this crime drama is written by Balwinder Singh Grewal and the dialogue is written by Jatinder Mauhar, Jatinder Mauhar along with the direction also wrote the screenplay for the film, it is backed by Amrinder Billing, Tushar Golan, Mandeep Singh Maana, and Sukhminder Singh, editing is done by Hardik Singh Reen, lyrics are written by Binder Pal Fateh and Jatinder Mahar.
Talking about Deep Sidhu he started his career in modeling later he debuted in the Punjabi industry through the film Ramta Jogi in 2015 as an actor, his other films include, Rang Punjab, Jora 10 Numbaria, the actor was also a lawyer, and the activist, he made the headlines due to his involvement in the violence during the farmer protest 2021 that took place in Republic Day.
