Directed and written by P.S. Mithran, upcoming Tamil spy action thriller film Sardar, is had a grand theatrical release during the occasion of Diwali 2022.
Tamil superstar Karthi, who is basking in the success of his period action drama film Ponniyin Selvan:I, is playing dual roles in the film, whereas actresses Raashii Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan are playing lead actresses in the film.
Apart from them, the film also stars Chunkey Pandey, Laila, Rithvik, Murali Sharma, Myna Nandhini, Munishkanth, Sahana Vasudevan, Shyam Krishnan, Ilavarasu, Yugi Sethu, Avinash, Swaminathan, Abdool Lee, and Mohammad Ali Baig.

About the Film
The spy thriller film follows Inspector Vijaya Prakash, a publicly hungry officer who wants to be famous. He falls in love with an advocate, Shalini. He later accepts the mission of retrieving an important file containing military secrets of the Indian Intelligence Agencies.
While investigating the case, Vijay finds a connection between the film and an ex-spy named Chandrabose, a.k.a. Sardar, who is also a master in disguise. What is Sardar’s connection to the case and Vijay, who resembles Sardar? This forms the crux of the plot.
When & Where to Watch?
The much-hyped film produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures, released theatrically on October 21, 2022 in Tamil along with a dubbed Telugu version, collected Rs 100 Cr+ WW. Somehow, if you didn’t make it to the theatres, you will get to watch the film on Aha after its theatrical run, as the platform has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film.
