Tollywood’s latest rom-com film SVP starring superstar Mahesh Babu enjoying an amazing run at the box office, the film in three days have grossed a staggering Rs 100 Cr WW and now is all set to have a wonderful opening weekend.
The film needs now around Rs 50 Cr to cross the breakeven mark, after that, it will enter the profit zone, and everything it earns will be considered a bonus.
Mahesh starrer opened with mixed to negative reviews from the critics, hence there were negative talks for the film doing the rounds but as the day passes and the film starts churning out amazing collections, the talks starts changing with positive word of mouth and now it is being said that the film might become the next blockbuster after RRR.
The positive thing that came with the changing views among the public is the film caters to the family audience who are coming towards the ticket counters in a decent amount. Which ultimately added more moolah to the film’s cash register.
On an opening day, it earned Rs 50 Cr gross and went on to become the career’s highest grosser opening film of the Mahesh Babu and fifth-highest in the Telugu-speaking states. On the second day (Friday), it accumulated Rs 16.20 Cr gross for a total of 2 days Telugu speaking states of Rs 66.30 Cr gross.
On Saturday it saw growth in the collections and churned out Rs 18.10 crores gross and on the last day of the first weekend, the film maintaining the growth garnered Rs 18.20 crores. The film witnessed amazing growth on both days Sat & Sun.

SVP has also crossed the Rs 10 Cr mark in the overseas market with a 4-day total collection of Rs 10.15 Cr, though the film saw growth on Sunday in the home market, it witnessed a drop of Rs 20 Lakhs on Day 4 in the WW collections.
Mahesh starrer raked in Rs 21.80 Cr gross on Day 4(Sunday) worldwide for a total collection of Rs 133.80 Cr gross. It is now Rs 35.13 Cr away to fetch the breakeven mark.
