Action thriller Selfie is currently running at the box office successfully, the film is starred by the music director turned actor G.V Prakash Kumar and the known filmmaker actor Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The film had created much anticipation among the Kollywood cinephiles through its trailer and they are showering their love for the film by coming to the cinema halls at an ample amount, now.
Mathi Maran wrote the story and the screenplay for the film along with the direction, it is bankrolled by D. Sabareesh under the banner DG Film Company.
Selfie OTT Release Date
The post-theatrical digital right of the film is acquired by the video on demand platform Aha Tamil, Selfie to be premiered on the platform by the April, as the film is a low budget and for a small budget film, a 4-week theatrical run considered to be enough to rake in the profit.

Star Cast of Selfie
The film tells the story of an engineering student Kanal, who was later involved in the business of getting the students admitted to the college through management quota, which annoys the antagonist Ravi Varma, as his business sees loss owing to Kanal’s new venture. Further viewers will see both the G.V taking on each other.

Selfie Budget
Selfie is made with a budget of Rs 12 to 15 Cr production cost and Rs 5 Cr print and advertising costs, the film was released in cinemas in the Tamil language and opened with a good opening of Rs 3 to 4 Cr gross collection.

The 1minute 32 seconds trailer shows a glimpse of both the G.V’s taking on each other, the trailer is filled with friendship, love-making sequences and too much violence. G.V Prakash Kumar along with the acting also gave the Music and the BGM in the film, which seems getting well received by the viewers in the trailer.
On the technical front, the cinematography is done by Vishnu Rangasamy, Editing by Elayaraj. S and the music by G.V, lyrics written by Arivu and Jayashree Mathi Maran.
