Popular Hollywood actor Jim Carry starrer Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is getting a phenomenal response at the box office worldwide and is now all set to release in Indian theatres.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 serves as the sequel of the 2020 superhit film STH, Jeff flower is onboard again at the director’s seat, Sonic this time making the globe-trotting journey with his sidekick Tails in the quest of an emerald, but he has to face his archenemy, Dr. Robotnik, first, in order to achieve the green stone.

Release Date in India
STH2 was released in the home Market U.S on April 8. Ahead of the U.S release, Jim Carrey starrer had released in France a week ahead on March 30, and in 30 Major markets internationally. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is slated to hit the Indian theatres on 22 April 2022. It will be released in the English language only.

The film is made with a budget of 90 million U.S dollars (INR 682 crores approx) and churned out the business of 26.1 million U.S dollars (INR 197 crores approx) already before releasing in the home market U.S.

The final trailer of the film was released on social media platforms in mid-March 2022, and it garnered a lot of eyeballs, as of April 7, the trailer has been viewed over 2.3 crore views.
It starts with Sonic interrupting the marriage of his friends, and further flashes to the arrival of Dr. Robotnik with his partner knuckles who are on the way to stop Sonic from fetching Master Emerald. The amazing work of the cinematography and the visual effects in the film makes it more enthralling.
