Both the Diwali release movies Thank God and Ram Setu opened to below par start at the box office. The films had decent advance bookings for the opening day and emerged as an average openers at the box office.
Thank God and Ram Setu are not event films, therefore one hasn’t expected a great opening but a start of over 15 crores would have been considered a good start. Conversely, both the flicks delivered an average start at the box office.

Box Office Collection Day 2
Thank God performed below-par expectations at the box office on the first day, however, the decent hold on the 2nd day suggests that the film will continue to churn out moolah albeit on the lower side.
As per the early trade reports, it adds another 5.5-6 crores at its cash registers, which is a 25% drop, the total two days of domestic collections reached in the vicinity of 14 crores. Although the collections are on the lower side if it maintains the hold till Friday and then jumps on Sat and Sun, it will be able to reach near the 100 crore lifetime.
Advance Booking Reports Day 2
Talking about Siddharth Malhotra-Ajay Devgn fronted Thank God, it looks like the film got a tad of traction among the audience. The collections from the bookings haven’t dropped a big. It had sold over 55000 tickets for the opening day.

Maintaining the hold, it sold over 41000 tickets from the advance ticket bookings which is worth 97L, on day 2.
