The Boys is an American Superhero Series which is based on The comic book series of the same name which was written by Garth Ennis, who is known for the Vertigo series Preachers and co-created, designed, and illustrated by Darick Robertson.
This Comic Series was created by Eric Kripke and published by DC Comics under the Wildstorm Production or Wildstorm, an American Book imprint. Later it moved to Dynamite Entertainment.
The Boys is the set of the Universe, where superpowered individuals exist, who works for a powerful corporation Vought International.
They are considered and recognized as heroes or Supes by the general public, but outside their celebrity status, most of them are corrupt, arrogant, and reckless in behavior.
The Seven is their premier superhero team which is led by the violent and corrupt leader named“Homelander”.
A Clandestine CIA squad The Boys is established to bring these corrupt superheroes down. It is led by Billy Butcher. The Seven are considered the most powerful enemies of The Boys.
It is based on the flight of two groups, one considered as superheroes or supes, but arrogant and corrupt in real life and the other a group of a CIA squad, who are hired to fight the group of highly powerful and dangerous The Seven.
After its 2 successful seasons that were critically acclaimed, it is back with its Season 3.
The Boys Season 3 OTT Release Date
This highly anticipated TV series is all set to have an OTT release this year. The Makers of the series have shared the official date of the release of the show.
Season 3 of the series will have a direct OTT release on June 3, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video. The first 3 episodes are scheduled to release on that day.
