National award winning filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files which created a havoc at box-office as well as on its digital premiere is set to have its TV premiere soon.
The film starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi, hit the theaters on March 11 and it was based on the early 1990s exodus and killings of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley.
The Kashmir Files TV Premiere Date Locked
Made on a small budget (The Kashmir Files), the Agnihotri directorial broke all records of earning and became the biggest hit of post- COVID era. It became a major competitor for big ticket movies like Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam and Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey.
After two months of theater release, it premiered on Zee 5 on May 13 and recorded the highest number of viewers on the platform during its first weekend and the first week at more than 6 million and 9 million, respectively. Now all set for TV premiere.
Now it is all set for the first ever TV premiere, the makers have revealed the release date of the film on Television. It is set to have its first TV premiere on Zee Cinema on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 8 pm. Those who haven’t watched the movie yet, have now an opportunity to enjoy at home with their family. The film received highly positive response from audiences as well as critics. Despite less promotion, the film single handedly pushed the biggies out of theaters and created havoc at Box-office.
Public itself promoted the film which resulted in the film being housefull in theaters for many days. It grossed Rs. 271.5 million on the opening weekend and collected a huge total of Rs. 340.17 cr.The film has an IMDb rating of 8.3/10.
