The box office failures of the recent releases Telugu films suggest that there is an urgent need for a crowd-puller film at the box office. It has been around 2 months since the Telugu industry is suffering from a series of flops.
This is not only the case with TFI in fact the Hindi film industry is going through the same phase, producers lost big moolah there in the form of biggies like Shamshera and Prithviraj.
Recent releases rejected by the audience
The industries are struggling to find any takers, recent releases Indian films Shabhaash Mithu, Khuda Haafiz 2, Rashtrakavach OM, Ante Sundariniki, Godse, Virata Parvam, Hit: The First Case, The Warriorr and Thank You got rejected by the audience in the first weekend itself.
The latter two films were opened with a mixed response from the audience and had created a buzz ahead of their release. Still find no takers at the box office and got neglected by the audience.

The Warriorr Box Office
RAPO’s starrer “The Warriorr” pulled a good amount of crowd at the box office on the first day but failed to gain momentum during the momentum. And missed the much-needed start. In the first 12 days, the total AP-TG collections of the film stand at Rs 27.80 Cr gross, as per the Telugu BO tracker T2BLive.
It now needs to recover over Rs 15 cr shares from the home market which seems impossible. It is estimated to finish its lifetime with Rs 35 Cr gross at the box office AP-TG.

Thank You Box Office
Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya had given the hits amid the pandemic time with Love Story and Bangarraju. But the actor also couldn’t break the drought at the box office. As his film saw a dismal start than the Warrior and earned only Rs 1.65 Cr shares at the BO AP-TG. The 50% drop on Monday made it clear that it will not sustain at the box office more than a week. The worldwide gross of Thank You stands at Rs 6.80 Cr (4days), and needs to recover Rs 21.13 Cr.
