Taika Waititi’s directorial “Thor: Love and Thunder” recently crossed the $400M in the international market and now has crossed the $760M mark globally. It crosses the coveted 100 crore mark in India in week 4, the superhero film lifetime stands at Rs 101.45 crore nett in India.
It is the fourth film in the Thor film series, backed by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum under the banner Marvel Studios.

Needs $10M to cross The Batman Lifetime
Despite it being one of the worst reviewed films in the Thor series, it still stands at rank number 6 in the list of the highest grosser film of 2022 worldwide. The other marvel release of this year Doctor Strange 2 is at the number third position on the list with $955 million.
Chris-Natalie fronted Thor 4 is now eying to cross the lifetime of The Batman starring Robert Pattinson, it is now only $10M (INR 81 cores approx) away, to become the 5th highest grosser of the year. The Batman lifetime stands at $770M globally, as per Box Office Mojo.
Crosses $750M Globally
As per the Box Office Mojo, the worldwide collection of the superhero movie stands at $760.2 million (INR 6184 crores approx) with this, it has crossed the $760M mark at the box office worldwide. The WW total of Thor 4 consists of $417 million (INR 3393 crore approx) internationally and $343 million (INR 2793 crore approx) in U.S and Canada.

Gets past 100 cr
There have been negative talks surrounding the film despite this it opened with staggering numbers at the box office in India on its first weekend. Now, as per a recent report of entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, Thor Love and Thunder had earned around Rs 1.8 Cr over its 4th week taking the total collection of the film upwards of Rs 100 Cr.
Chris Hemsworth-Natalie Portman starrer has already been considered a hit in India and has become 2nd Hollywood venture this year to enter the 100-crore club after Doctor Strange 2. The latter film is also the production of MCU and had collected Rs 130 Cr in its entire theatrical run in India.

It should have made more business given its staggering first-weekend collection but again the film that was already riding on negative word of mouth to go past the 100-crore mark is itself a big feat to achieve.
