The crime drama web series Tokyo Vice starring Ansel Elgort is now available on your digital screens, the series is an HBO Max original.
The show is set in Japan Tokyo in the 1990s, revolves around a crime reporter journalist named Jake Adelstein, it is inspired by the life events of Jake, who worked in Japan as a reporter for the country’s one of the largest newspapers Yomiuri Shinbun.
The show is based on his book called Tokyo Vice and is created by J.T. Rogers. Filming of the series started in March 2020 with the delayed production, it finally wrapped up in June 2021.

The series was premiered on the digital platform HBO Max on 7 April 2022.
Tokyo Voice is composed of 8 episodes, with the first three episodes premiered on 7 April, further fourth and fifth episodes be premiered on April 14, the sixth and seventh on April 21, and the final episode premiered on April 28.

Star Cast of Tokyo Vice
The show stars Ansel Elgort in the main lead as Jake Adelstein, Ken Watanabe (Hiroto Katagiri), Rachel Keller (Samantha), Ella Rumpf (Polina), Rinko Kikuchi, Hideaki Ito, Show Kasamatsu and Tomohisa Yamashita will be seen playing key roles. Other actors includes Shun Sugata, Masato Hagiwara, Ayumi Tanida and Kosuke Toyohara.
