Toolsidas Junior, the last movie of late Bollywood actor Rajiv Kapoor who passed away in 2021 due to heart attack, is going to be released on Digital platform after theatrically on 4th March.
Rajiv Kapoor was the youngest son of the legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor and the younger brother of Randhir and late Rishi Kapoor, who also had a successful career in the Hindi film industry.
With Toolsidas Junior, which is a sports drama, Rajiv Kapoor made his comeback in films, after a long gap of three decades, after 1990’s Bollywood film Zimmedaaar, unfortunately gone too soon.

The release date of the film was revealed with a poster featuring the late actor Rajiv Kapoor along with Sanjay Dutt and a child artist named Varun Buddhadev.
The poster features the three of these actors standing beside a Snooker Board holding snooker sticks in their hands. It was released on 4th of March along with Big B’s long awaited sports drama Jhund.
The background and the tagline “BACHCHA HAI, PHAAD DEGA ”, mentioned in the poster are the hints that this sports drama will describe the journey of a teen, who is willing to be a snooker champion.

Toolsidas Junior Cast & Crew
This most-awaited sports drama film has featured the late Rajiv Kapoor, who was best known for the lead role in the 1985 romantic drama film Ram Teri Ganga Maili opposite Mandakini.
The film will also star Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. fame Sanjay Dutt and a child artist Varun Buddhadev, who is popularly known for his role in the TV show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai which was aired on Star Plus in 2017.
The film is directed as well as written by Mridul and it is bankrolled by Ashutosh Gowarikar and his wife Sunita under their banner “Ashutosh Gowarikar Production Private Limited, in association with Bhushan and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series.

Toolsidas Junior Special Screening Event
Both the producer of the film Ashutosh Gowarikar and Bhushan Kumar organized a special screening of this upcoming sports drama.
This special screening was organized specially for the Kapoor family on Thursday, 17th February 2022 to honor the memory of the late Rajiv Kapoor, who breathed his last on February 9, 2021.
The members of the Kapoor family including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Reema Jain, and others attended the screening and posed with the producers.
