One of the most anticipated Tamil films Thala Ajith starrer Valimai finally releases in cinemas worldwide on Feb 24. Ajith Kumar aka AK is gracing the big screens after two and half years, fans have been waiting for Thala’s comeback in this action thriller since then.
Now they finally get to witness AK’s mass entertainer on the silver screens. Reportedly Valimai is Ajith’s highest no. of theatres release ever, it is releasing worldwide over 4 thousand 500 screens, with most over 900 screens in the home market Tamilnadu alone.
Screen Count
In the Telugu region the film got 750 plus screen counts, Ak’s this mass action thriller releasing in Karnataka and Kerala on over 500 screens. Rest of India it will be released on over 1200 screens and overseas 1500 plus screens. Valimai is released on 234 screens in the U.S by the distributors Hamsini Entertainment in the Tamil language.

However, Valimai releases on Thursday 24 Feb in all four languages Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Hindi. And soon after fetching the early morning shows in the home market fans took to SM platforms to share their reviews in the praise of Ajith starrer.
Valimai is getting rave reviews from the critics and the fans, the film is being liked for the lit action sequences, the direction of H.Vinoth, and the bike chasing scene between Ajith and Kartikeya. The film’s music is also being appreciated, in particular the Naanga Vera Mari song.

Talking about the North Box office collections of Valimai, Ajith has not that much fan following in the north on par Allu Arjun’s. So, it might not pull that many footfalls.
And not to forget today’s clash, the film will lock horns in the north with Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and in the south especially Telugu with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak who is a big draw in Telugu speaking states which can halt the film’s business from day 2 onwards.
