Tamil comedy drama film Veetla Vishesham is set to release on OTT after receiving amazing response from its theatre run soon. It is directed by Balaji Patturaj, popularly known as RJ Balaji, who became famous hosting 92.7 Big FM show The Night Show With RJ Balaji and many others.
Balaji also co-wrote the film’s screenplay and NJ Saravanan co-directed the film which is written by Akshat Ghildial and Shantanu Srivastava.
The film was the remake of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 2018 Hindi film Badhaai Ho and it stars R.J. Balaji himself in the lead role reprising Khurrana’s role with actress Balamurali playing his love interest.
Veteran actors Sathyaraj and Urvashi played Balaji as father and mother, respectively. Apart from these stars, the film also starred K.P.A.C Lalitha, Seema, Pavitra Lokesh, Shivani Narayanan, Ravikumar, Visvesh and many others.

Veetla Vishesham OTT Release Date Out
Produced by popular Indian filmmaker Boney Kapoor under his Bayview Projects LLP along with Zee Studios and Romeo Pictures, the film was released theatrically on June 17, 2022.
Now, after a successful theatre run, it is all set to have post-theatrical OTT streaming on July 15, 2022, almost a month after theatre released, on India’s one of leading OTT streaming platform Zee5. The satellite rights of the film have been acquired by Zee Tamil and Zee Thirai.
The film’s actor and director RJ Balaji revealed the release date of the film via his twitter handle on Monday, July 11, 2022.

Just like the Original (Hindi) film, the Tamil version also received highly positive response from critics as well as audience and became a commercial success with all praise for the performance of the star cast, story and comic training of the main leads. The film, made on a small budget of Rs. 10-15 crore was released in around 250+ screens in Tamil Nadu.
