This year has been all about the blockbuster pan India films from the south industry that wreaked havoc and performed stupendously at the box office. Films like RRR, KGF2, and Pushpa have revived the business of the exhibitors who had incurred heavy losses during the covid pandemic.
Now, there is one more film from south India that is performing amazingly well at the box office in India and overseas is Vikram. The film which stars Ulganayagan Kamal Haasan is reigning supreme currently at the box office and got the tag of blockbuster by churning out over Rs 300 crores, so far.
With this, Haasan starrer also became the second-highest grosser Tamil film of all time and highest grosser of the year 2022 beating Valimai and Beast lifetime bizz.

Box Office Collection Week 1
Vikram was opened with rave reviews from the critics and has been raking in big moolah ever since it hit the theatres. On opening day, it earned Rs 60 Cr+ gross worldwide, further it sees an increasing trend in the collections over the first weekend.
The opening weekend collections of the action thriller stands at Rs 160 crores gross. Staying decent through the weekdays, Vikram accumulated over Rs 200 crores in the first week at the box office worldwide.

Box Office Collection Week 2
Ulganayagan’s film works well in the second week too, staying consistent in week 2, it first saw Rs 50 Cr+ coming in on the second weekend at the BO worldwide. And has been minting over Rs 10 Cr+ through the weekdays.
On Day 11 (Monday), it earned Rs 14.40 crores gross, which was higher than the prior Friday’s collection (Rs 12.90 Cr ), this means the magic of Vikram is still intact between the cinephiles.
It will see the growth in the collections over the third weekend also, as per the early reports, Vikram earned Rs 7.40 Cr gross on Friday (Day 14), the total worldwide collections now stands at Rs 343 Cr+ gross.
