Mahima Makwana: Who is Aayush Sharma's love interest in Antim?

Finally, Mahesh Manjrekar directed movie ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ has been released, and apart from Salman and Ayush being pitted against each other, what else we could see in it was the chemistry between Aayush and Mahima Makwana! They both could be very well seen in a love connection.

Now, the question is, who is Mahima Makwana? This 22-year-old Indian Television actress was born and brought up in Mumbai, who lost her father when she was only five months old. Her mother is a former social worker and has raised her and her elder brother all by herself!

Makwana completed her schooling at Mary Immaculate Girls’ High School in Mumbai and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Mass media from Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Mumbai!

Her Acting Journey

If we talk about her acting career, she debuted only at the age of 10, when she appeared in ad commercials. She got her big break on television with Colors in “Mohe Rang De”. She has also played pivotal roles in serials like Miley Jab Hum Tum, CID, Aahat, and also acted as a child artist in Jhansi Ki Rani!

She was also the Gudiya of Balika Vadhu, where she played the role of Anandi’s best friend. She then continued to act in a lot many TV serials which include “Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke”, “Dil Ki Batein Dil Hi Jaane”, “Pyar Tune Kya Kia”, and “Rishton Ka Chakravyuh”. In 2019, she bagged the lead role of Rani Dave Reshmaiya in “Shubharambh”.

Coming down to her movie career, she has acted in Telugu films, making her debut in 2017 with the film “Venkatapuram” and later on in “Mosagallu”. Next, in 2019, she appeared in a short film “Take 2”, and played the role of Natasha.

This short film was premiered at the 10th Jagran Film Festival, Asian Film Festival in Los Angeles, California, and Zumba Film Festival. Her film even bagged the best foreign film award and best festival-themed film award at the Real-time Film Festival in Nigeria, in 2020.

Again in 2019, she debuted digitally in “Rangbaaz Season 2” and played the role of Chiku. She appeared in the web show “Flesh” in the year 2020, and played the role of Zoya. Apart from this, she has also appeared in music videos of companies like Zee Music, and Varun Dhone.

Antim: The Final Truth

The beauty has now bagged a lead female role in Salman Bhai’s Antim: The Final Truth, which is a remake of the Marathi crime action movie ‘Mulshi Pattern’. The actress is starred opposite Ayush Sharma, who is playing the role of a gangster trying to impress the girl who is supposedly seen to be a tea vendor in the trailer.

Salman Khan plays the role of a cop again after his hit Dabangg cop role, Khan has come up with a little twist this time where he is seen donning a turban and plays the role of a Sikh cop!

Produced by Salma Khan, the movie also features Varun Dhawan in a guest appearance of the Ganesha song and also has Pragya Jaiswal playing a pivotal role in the movie. ‘Antim’ is full of non-stop action and a pinch of romance released theatrically on November 26, 2021.
