Yashoda starring “Samantha” is now only 70L away to become a hit. The film was out in theatres on Nov 11 with rave responses from the critics. It has completed its one-week run at the box office and inching closer to completing the break-even mark.

Directed and written by Hari-Harish, the film stars Samantha in the titular role, it is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner Sridevi Movies. Yashoda has budgeted 30-35 crores and was released on 1350 screens worldwide.

The movie is enjoying a free run in the home market with no major competition, however, it is locking horns with the small film Gaalodu which has occupied a good amount of screens in the home market. The BE target of the latter film is easy and has performed well on the first day.

As per sacnilk.com, the 1st-week gross collection of Yashoda stands at 22.30 crores which consist of 16.30 Cr gross in India and 6 Cr gross overseas. As per the trade estimations, Yashoda collected 0.50 Cr nett on Friday (day 8), taking the total earnings to over 14 crores nett, in the domestic market.

The film is running successfully at the box office U.S, it has recently crossed the $500K mark there and as per the recent reports more screens are being added for the film. It is sure to emerge as a hit.

Yashoda Needs 70L to Break Even

As per the Telugu trade circle reports, Yashoda is inches away to cross its break-even target of 12 Cr. So far, it has recovered 11.34 crores distributor’s shares and now needs only 0.66 crores shares to become the 16th clean hit Telugu film of 2022.

It is expected to complete the BE mark on its 2nd weekend. Last month the Telugu version of the Tamil film “Sardar” has done the breakeven in just 6 days to become the 15th clean hit in the state in 2022.
