Telugu cinema’s most prominent actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has a massive fan base not only in South India but in the Hind Belt too. The actress has proven herself with her acting prowess and amassed an unparalleled fan base over the years.
After the big success of her last release, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, the actress is set for the release of her next film, Yashoda. Billed as a science fiction action thriller, Yashoda is written and directed by filmmaker duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan, popularly known as Hari-Harish.
She has recently made headlines after she revealed her myositis diagnosis, which left her fans shocked. Now she shared her new picture on social media in which she talked about strength and being positive no matter how the days are.

The Pan India film will be released in Telugu, along with dubbed Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions, on November 11, 2022.

About the Film
Billed as Samantha’s first ever pan-Indian film, Yashoda stars her in the titular role of a pregnant nurse. Before that, we saw her performing some high octane action sequences in the Manoj Bajpayee starrer spy thriller series The Family Man 2.
The cast of the film also includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Madhubala, Malayalam star Unni Mukundan as Dr. Gautham, and Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Divya Sripada, Kalpika Ganesh, Priyanka Sharma, and Rajiv Kumar Aneja in key roles.
Plot
Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, under the banner of Sridevi Movies, the film stars Samantha, a woman named Yashoda, who becomes a surrogate mother in exchange for money. However, she gets to know about the illegal activities regarding surrogacy and the injustice against surrogate mothers, after which she decides to bring them to justice.
Yashoda Budget & Box-Office Prediction
The sci-fi action entertainer is said to made on an estimated budget of Rs. 30–35 crore. The film has been making a lot of buzz since its announcement and has now raised the insiquitiveness regarding the film as the trailer has also been released.
The Samantha starrer is expected to have a worldwide opening of Rs. 6–7 crore. If it receives good word of mouth, then it will cross its producton-cost within a week. The film is expected to gross around Rs. 50–60 crore at the box-office, which is enough to call it a blockbuster.
