SDM of Dindori district was killed by her husband, Manish Sharma, at her residence on January 28. The incident has shocked the entire nation. Sharma smothered Nisha with a pillow till she was dead, and he used a washing machine to wash the blood stains, which eventually turned out to be the biggest evidence in the case.
SDM Nisha’s sister claimed that Sharma used to torture her for money. Nisha’s sister said, He used to harass Nisha for money. She also revealed that Nisha does not have any diseases. She even claimed that Manish killed her sister, and he did not even let the house help enter Nisha’s room.
Manish Sharma has been booked under sections 302, 304 B, and 201 of the IPC (Indian Penal Code). When Manish was asked about the death of her wife, he said Nisha was suffering from a kidney ailment. He even said that she was keeping a fast on Saturday and vomited at night, after which she was given some medicine.”She didn’t wake up the next day, he claimed.
“I didn’t wake up in the morning, and she didn’t have any work as it was a Sunday. I went for a walk after the maid came at 10 a.m. When I came back at 2 p.m., she still hadn’t woken up. I tried to wake her up and gave her CPR. I called the doctor who asked me to take her to a hospital.”

Nisha Napit was serving as a sub-divisional magistrate in Shahpura in Dindori district. She also didn’t name him her nominee in her service book, insurance, or bank account, due to which Manish was not happy with her wife.
