The Amrita Entrance Examination- Engineering (AEEE) is a university-level entrance exam. AEEE 2024 Exam Phase 1 will be conducted in January 2024, while Phase 2 will be conducted in May 2024.
AEEE is a computer-based exam for which a student needs to book a slot. The AEEE slot booking will be conducted in the second week of December 2023.
Amrita University fills 70% of seats through AEEE. The rest is 30% through JEE Mains. The Amrita Entrance Exam 2024 provides admission to B.Tech. courses on five campuses. Amrita campuses comprise Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore.
Students will only be able to take the Amrita Entrance Exam 2024 if they are eligible and have registered themselves. AEEE Exam Date 2024
Amrita University conducts the AEEE B.Tech exam in two phases. The tentative date of the Amrita entrance exam for Phase 1 is January 2024 and AEEE Phase 2 is May 2024.

AEEE 2024 Eligibility
The students must check the AEEE 2024 eligibility criteria before filling in the AEEE application form. For AEEE a student must have 55% in each of these three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
In addition, they should also have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for the B.Tech. course.

AEEE 2024 Application Form
The Amrita entrance exam 2024 Phase 1 and Phase 2 registrations will begin in the third week of October 2023. The AEEE registration form will be available both online and offline.
Students can follow the steps given below to fill out the AEEE 2024 application form.
- Browse Amrita University’s official website: amrita.edu/btech.
- On the new page, enter your name, email ID, mobile number, etc., and submit it for registration.
- You will receive a login ID along with the password in your registered e-mail ID.
- Now you will need to provide all your personal and academic information and submit it.
- Make sure to check and verify all your details and click on the ‘I Confirm’ icon.
- The next step is to upload your photograph and signature according to the required specifications.
- Now click on the ‘Proceed for Payment’ option and pay the AEEE application fee.
- After the payment, you can download your AEEE application fees.
AEEE 2024 Application Fees
A student has to pay the AEEE application fee to complete the registration process. The application fee is a mandatory and non-refundable payment of INR 1200. Students can appear in AEEE phases 1 and 2 by paying an additional amount of INR 600 for their second chance. A student can pay the AEEE fee online or offline.
For online AEEE application fee payment, a student can use any one of the following methods: Internet banking, credit card, debit card, etc. For offline application fee payment, a student needs to issue a DD in favour of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.

AEEE 2024 Slot Booking
The AEEE 2024 slot booking procedure for phase 1 will commence in the 2nd week of December 2023 via online mode. Candidates can book their exam center and time through slot booking.
Although candidates can fill out their choices for date, venue, and timing of the exam, officials still hold the right to change them as per the requirement.
Exam-related information, including exam date, time, and location, is included in slot booking. Candidates will receive an admission card once a slot has been reserved.
AEEE 2024 Admit Card
The AEEE admit card will be available on the AEEE official website in April 2024(3rd week). Students have to use their registered Email ID/Application Number and Date of Birth to download the admit card.
The AEEE admit card consists of the student’s name, registration number, date of exam, exam centre name, time slot, etc. Candidates must inform the exam authorities if there is any mistake.

- On the home page, click on the ‘AEEE 2024 Admit Card’ icon.
- Now enter your application number and DOB in the admit card section.
- Your AEEE admission card will appear on the screen.
- Check for any discrepancies.
- After which, you can download and take a printout of the admit card.
- You have to bring this admit card along with you on the AEEE examination day.
AEEE 2024 Exam Pattern
Amrita University conducts the AEEE Exam online. Just like any other engineering exam, the AEEE Exam Pattern comprises four sections with 100 objective-type MCQs. The total time allotted to a student to complete the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
As per the marking scheme, 3 marks will be given for each correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The four sections in the AEEE exams are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. A student will receive three marks for every correct answer.

AEEE 2024 Result
Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham releases the AEEE result for all the candidates who appear in AEEE 2024. The AEEE Phase 1 results will be available in June 2024(4th Week). Students have to use their login ID to download the AEEE results from the AEEE official admission portal.
The AEEE result contains a scorecard for a student declaring the candidate’s merit position, total marks, and sectional marks (marks obtained in each subject). Here are the steps to follow for AEEE results:
