About Jain University

Earlier known as the Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College, it was established in 1990 in Bangalore. In 2009, it changed its name to Jain University and gained the status of a deemed-to-be university.

JAIN (Deemed-to-Be University) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses in the fields of engineering, management, law, commerce, design, etc. Not only this, the university also offers distance education through its Distance Education and Virtual Learning Centre.

Jain University Entrance Exam 2024

Jain University 2024 Admission to UG and PG courses is based on the JET. The university also accepts scores of national and state-level entrance exams such as JEE, GATE, CAT, CMAT, MAT, KPGCET, KMAT, COMEDK, Uni-GAUGE, and CUET.

JET 2024, or Jain Entrance Test, is a university-level exam for admission to various UG and PG programs at the university. JET for UG programs consists of three rounds: a written test, group discussion, and personal interview. Whereas PG JET consists of two rounds: a written test and a personal interview. The JET exam for the MBA has 4 rounds: written test, essay writing, presentation, and personal interview.

Jain University Cut-off

The JU cutoff will be available on the official website. The university releases the JET cutoff individually for all the courses. It also releases the cutoff for all other national and state-level exams. The cutoff depends on the number of seats and applicants applying for that course.

Jain University Application Form 2024

Candidates will be able to fill out the Jain University Banglore application form in the second week of October 2023. Students who want to take JET also need to register online. Follow the steps given below for Jain University 2024 admission.

• Visit the official website at www.jainuniversity.ac.in.
• Firstly, register to fill out the application form and also register for JET (if applying through JET).
• Click on ‘Apply for JET 2024’ on the home page.
• Now provide all personal details, such as name, mobile number, and email ID, and choose a password.
• If you click on ‘Register, you will receive a verification email.
• Next, go to the application portal using their email address and password.
• Here, choose the program you want to pursue and click on ‘Create Application’.
• You have to provide further personal, address, and academic details.
• In the next step, you have to upload scanned images of all required documents.
• After completion, click on the Submit icon.
• Lastly, pay the JET application fee and print the form.

Application Fee

A student needs to pay INR 600, a compulsory and non-refundable amount, for registration. The application fee is payable both online and offline using any one of the following methods: Debit card, credit card, net banking, and cash.
