LPU NEST Entrance Exam 2024: Exam Dates(Out), Application Form, Fee & Eligibility

LPUNEST 2024: LPU will officially begin the application process for the university-level entrance exam, LPU NEST 2024, on September 20, 2023. The LPU NEST, or Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test, is a university-level entrance exam for admission to UG and PG courses.

LPU Punjab conducts NEST exams in multiple schedules, for which the exam dates have been announced. The slot booking for the LPUNEST will commence on January 1, 2024, and the last date to book the slot is January 15, 2024.

As per the schedule, the LPUNEST 2024 exam will be conducted from January 20, 2024, to February 5, 2024. These schedules have many rounds, and students can book their exam slots in any round three days before the exam date.

The exam serves two purposes, one being an entrance exam and the other being a scholarship exam. Interested candidates can register for the computer-based test (CBT), i.e., the online exam, through the Lovely University Punjab website.

LPU Jalandhar gives a student two options to appear for this university-level entrance exam. The exam is either a test centre-based or online remotely proctored LPUNEST exam from home.

The exam dates for the first schedule of the NEST exam at LPU will be between January 20, 2024, and February 5, 2024, for which the application form has been released on September 20, 2023. A student can choose the exam center (if applicable), date, and time to appear in the LPU NEST Exam 2024. The result will be announced on February 8, 2024.

LPU NEST Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility

Lovely Professional University has set the LPUNEST eligibility criteria for candidates who are interested in the university. The university has set a minimum aggregate of 60% in the 12th standard in different subjects based on the B.Tech. course the student chooses.

Note: Any student who wants to appear for LPUNEST (B.Tech.) should have either completed or be appearing in 2024 for the 12th board Exam.

LPU NEST 2024 Application Form

A candidate can fill out the LPUNEST Application Form in offline, online, or semi-offline mode. The LPU NEST application form will be active from September 20, 2023, for round 1.

The application form will be in Optical Mark Reader (OMR) form in all modes. A candidate must complete the application form, as incomplete forms will not be considered.

The steps to fill in the LPUNEST (B.Tech) application form are as follows:

• Browse the LPU admission portal at admission.lpu.in.
• On the home page, you will see the Apply Now icon; click on it.
• Fill in all the information to register for LP University on the new page that will open.
• Your next step is the submission of application fees.
• On the new page, select the B.Tech. program of your choice for admission.
• Now you have to apply for the LPUNEST entrance exam.
• After which, verify and submit your application form.

LPU NEST 2024 Application Fees

The registration fee is a compulsory payment for the LPU NEST exam. The fee is a non-refundable amount payable online using Online banking/Credit card/Debit card / UPI.

For online mode, candidates can choose between a soft copy and a hard copy of the LPUNEST Kit. The LPUNEST Application Fee for a Soft copy is INR. 1000 (for Boys) and INR. 500 (for Girls), whereas a Printed/Hard copy is INR. 1500 (for Boys) and INR. 1000 (for Girls).

LPU NEST Slot Booking 2024

The LPUNEST 2024 slot booking will be done via online mode. Candidates will be able to book their slots for the LPU entrance exam on January 1, 2024.

Candidates can select their exam center, date, and timing through the slot booking procedure. As per the schedule, the last date for the LPUNEST slot booking is January 15, 2023.

Slot booking is mandatory for registered candidates before downloading the admit card. Only those candidates who complete the slot-booking procedure will be able to appear for the exam.

LPU NEST 2024 Admit Card

The admit card will be available for the students only after they fill out the application form. An admit card is an important and compulsory document and can be downloaded after the student has booked a slot. The LPUNEST admit card will be available in the 3rd week of January 2024.

The LPUNEST admit card is available immediately for students who book their slots, while students who have not booked any slots will be able to download the admit card 48 hours after the completion of slot booking. Here are the steps to download an admit card:

• Visit the official website of Lovely Professional University at lpu.in
• Click on the slot booking button, fill in the exam centre, and book the slot for the online exam as per your choice.
• Once you have completed the slot booking process, you will see your admit card immediately.
• On receiving the admit card, make sure to check all the details on it.
• If there is any discrepancy, you have to contact the concerned authorities at LPU.
• Now download and take a printout of the LPUNEST 2024 admit card.

LPU NEST 2024 Exam Pattern

The LPU NEST Entrance Exam (B.Tech) is a 150-minute long paper i.e., a 2-hour 30-minute. It consists of 5 sections and a total of 125 objective-type (MCQs) youth of which you have to answer only 100 questions. Each question is worth 4 marks, and there will be no negative marking.

English, Physics, Chemistry, and Aptitude are the compulsory sections, while a student can choose either Math or Biology. Physics, Chemistry, and Math consist of 25 questions, out of which 20 are MCQs and 5 fill in the blanks.

LPU NEST 2024 Syllabus

LPUNEST 2024 Result

The admission authority of Lovely Professional University will announce the results. The result is a scorecard that contains sectional and overall marks obtained by the student. After the release of results, qualifying candidates will participate in the counselling round.

The results are available after 48 hours of the exam and will mostly be available by the 1st or 2nd week of February 2024. Candidates can check their LPUNEST 2024 results via their LPUNEST login credentials.
