MNIT Jaipur: The Malaviya National Institute of Technology, or MNIT Jaipur, is a deemed university located in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The institute was established as the Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC) in 1963 which was later renamed as MNIT. The institute is accredited by the NBA and approved by AICTE.

MNIT Jaipur has 13 academic departments and 3 centers providing courses to impart technical education of international standards and conduct research at the UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels. NIRF has ranked the university 37th for engineering and 13th for architecture in 2023.

Cut-off 

The cutoff is the minimum mark that a student requires for admission to MNIT Jaipur. The B.Tech. and B.Arch. course cutoffs are declared during the JoSAA or CSAB counseling. CCMT releases the cutoff for M.Tech. and M.Plan. courses. These cutoffs are subject to the total seat intake, the rank of the student, the total number of applicants, etc.

How to Apply for MNIT Jaipur 2023 

A student applies for a B.Tech. course through JoSAA counselling on the basis of his JEE Mains score. The steps to apply to the B.Tech course of your choice at MNIT Jaipur are as follows:

• Visit the JEE Mains official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Register for the JEE Mains exam by filling in the necessary details, uploading your documents, and paying the application fees.
• Appear for the JEE Mains and qualify with a good score to increase your chance of being admitted to a top NIT college.
• Now register for JOSAA counseling for choice filling.
• You have to register yourself using the JEE Main application number and password.
• Select the college and specializations you prefer, as per the marks you received.
• After JoSAA declares the opening and closing ranks in different rounds.

Application Fees

MNIT Jaipur Placement  

The institute’s campus placement 2022 report recorded a placement rate of 87.60% for its UG courses. The placement statistics showed placements of 39% in the IT sector, 30% in the Core sector, and 20% in the Analytical sector. 841 students were placed, out of which 567 were UG students and 274 were PG students. The highest package for UG and PG courses stood at INR 64 LPA and INR 30 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 12.4 LPA and 9.37 LPA.
