MNNIT Allahabad: Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), or NIT Allahabad, was started in 1961 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, as the Regional Engineering College of India. It was the first institute to start an undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2002, the institute was transformed into the National Institutes of Technology in UP.

The institute has six academic departments that provide undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. NIRF has ranked the university 49th for engineering. The institute is a deemed university which is fully funded by the Government of India and approved by AICTE.

Entrance Exam 

The institute only accepts entrance exams at the national level for admission to various courses. The list of courses offered and the entrance exam to be qualified for MNIT Jaipur are as follows:

Cut-off 

JoSAA declares the opening and closing ranks in rounds for JEE Mains for admission in B.Tech courses. CCMT releases the cutoff for M.Tech. and CCMN for M.Sc. These cutoffs depend on the total number of seats available, the score or rank of the student, the total number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, etc.

A candidate can apply for the prominent B.Tech course through JoSAA counselling on the basis of their JEE Mains score. Here are the steps you need to follow to apply to the B.Tech course of your choice at MNNIT Allahabad:

• Register for JEE Mains through its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Appear for the exam and qualify with good marks to make it to the cutoff at MNNIT Allahabad.
