Who is R’Bonney Gabriel?
The 71st Miss Universe is R’Bonney Gabriel from the United States of America (USA). Gabriel was born on March 20, 1994, in Houston, Texas, to a Filipino father, Remigio Bonzon “R. Bon” Gabriel, and an American mother, Dana Walker.
Gabriel graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and a minor in fibers. She won Miss Texas USA 2022 and went on to represent Texas at Miss USA 2022. She was subsequently crowned Miss USA 2022, becoming the first Miss USA of Filipino descent.

Who represented India at Miss Universe 2022?
India’s representative for Miss Universe 2022–23 was Divita Rai, who was recently crowned Miss Diva Universe 2022 by current Miss Universe title holder Harnaaz Sandhu. Divita, a 25-year-old architect and model, was born in Mangalore, Karnataka, and currently lives in Mumbai.
Although Divita Rai was not able to win the crown, she definitely won hearts. Divita made it to the top 16 in the competition, which in itself is a big achievement.

At the end of the event, India’s Harnaaz Sandhu crowned her successor. The Miss Universe, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, expressed her joy and gratitude for the chances she has been given.
Harnaaz was seen as being a bit emotional when she was making her final walk as a Miss Universe, but she congratulated the new Miss Universe and all the other fellow contestants.

The 71st edition of Miss Universe will be hosted by American television presenter Jeannie Mai along with Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo. While Mai last served as a backstage correspondent during the Miss Universe 2014 pageant, Culpo last hosted the 69th edition of Miss Universe 2020.
Miss Universe 2022: When & Where to Watch?
As Thailand-based JKN Global Group has purchased the Miss Universe Organization from WWE/IMG, this is the first edition of the prestigious beauty pageant that held under the new ownership.
This year, the pageant was broadcasted on NBC as the show’s official worldwide broadcaster. Earlier, FOX was the show’s official broadcaster.
In addition, it marks the first time that the Miss Universe pageant has been broadcast on television by JKN Global Group’s JKN18 and JKN-CNBC, the organization’s expanded headquarters in Thailand.
