Aashiqana OTT Release Date, Star Cast, Plot, Trailer, Makers & More Updates

Popular streaming giant Disney+Hotstar is known for delivering the best for its viewers, and in the last few years, the streamer has made a tight grip in the Indian market.

People love to enjoy Disney’s content whether its is a web show, film or the sports related material or original programming, the streamer never stop to entertain its viewers with the variety in the content.

It’s recent releases are Supriya pathak and Manoj Pahwa starrer Home Shanti and Siddharth starrer science-fiction series Escaype Live, that aired on Friday, May 21st. Now, it will soon be back with another original streaming television show titled Ashiqana, touted-to-be a cop-based drama.

Aashiqana Star Cast

Talking about star cast, actor Zayn Ibad Khan who earlier appeared Hotstar’s historic drama televisions series Vidrohi is the male lead of the film and he will be portraying a cop. Earlier, Altamash Faraz were approached for the role but the deal with him couldn’t materialise.

As per Media sources, Sai Ketan Rao of “Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali” fame was finalised for the role of the main protagonist, but it for unknown reason the things couldn’t go as per plan. and finally Zayn were cast as the main lead in the series.

Khushi Dubey, who had acted in many popular shows like Naagin, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai etc., is playing the female lead opposite Zayn. Other than these stars, the show is likely to star Geeta Tyagi, Manohar Teli, Harshita Shukla and Navneet Malik in pivotal roles.

Aashiqana Makers

Television Industry’s one of the popular writer and filmmaker Gul Khan who is known for the iconic shows like Geet, Qubool Hai, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Ishqbaaaz, Nazar, Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn and Ishq Par Zor Nahi etc., is the creator of the show.

Earlier, she had directed and produced Hotstar’s originals romantic streaming television series Tanhaiyan. Talking about Ashiqana, it will be produced by Gul’s 4 Lion Films.
