Bigg Boss Kannada, a spin-off series of reality show Bigg Boss is all set to be back with its 9th season and it is being said that the upcoming season is going to be a little different yet very interesting.
The show was launched in 2013 and has been one of the popular reality shows in Kannada language. The last season aired from February 28 to August 8, 2021 and declared Manju Pavagada as its winner.
Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep will be back as a host of the show. He has been hosting the show since its launch and his presence in the show is one of the biggest reasons for its popularity.
He has also hosted Bigg Boss OTT Kannada which was concluded recently. Now, the actor will be back with Bigg Boss Kannada 9, which is set to have its grand release on September 24, 2022 at 6 pm. After that the show will premiere every day at 09:30 pm on Colors Kannada as well Voot (online).
It is learnt that this season of Bigg Boss Kannada will bring back old contestants from the previous seasons. Also, some contestants of Bigg Boss OTT Kannada Season 1 are also expected to be a part of the show.

1- Prema
Actress Prema, who is known for her work in Kannada and a few Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films is also expected to become the contestant in Bigg Boss Kannada 9. The 45-year old actress is the recipient of Karnataka State Film Awards and Filmfare Best Actress Awards.

2- Naveen Krishna
Naveen Krishna, the Sandalwood actor and filmmaker is known for his work in films like Haggada Kone (2014) and Actor (2016), which won him several laurels and appreciations. He is the son of veteran actor Srinivasa Murthy. Naveen is also expected to enter Bigg Boss House this time.

3- Tarun Chandra
Actor Tarun Chandra, who made his acting debut with 2003’s multi-starrer film Khushi, is among the names of the expected contestants of Bigg Boss Kannada 9. He has also appeared in movies like Love Guru, Gaana Bajaana, Gharshane and Goa etc.
4- Vinay Kumar
Vinay Kumar is the former Indian Cricketer who has represented India in Test, One Day International and T20 levels. He played domestic cricket for Karnataka and Indian Premier league (IPL) for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.In February 2021, Kumar announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Now it is being reported that he will soon be the part of Bigg Boss Kannada 9 as a contestant.
