Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 announced its winner on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022. Dancer Dilsha Prasanna was declared the winner of the show. With clinching the winning trophy, Dilsha became the first-ever female to win the Bigg Boss Malayalam, as previous 3 seasons were won by the male contestants.
The public response in Season 4 was stronger than the previous seasons. Besides the declaration of winner, the finale was with a variety of entertainment for viewers. With the performance of ex-contestants and comedy skits by Suraj Venjaramoodu and his team, the last episode turned out to be an entertaining finale.
Who is Dilsha Prasannan?
Born on 25 July 1991 in Kerala’s Calicut, Disha Prasannan is an actress as well as professional dancer, who got limelight from Big Boss Malayalam. She completed her schooling from Government Mappila Vocational Higher Secondary School, Koyilandy, Kerala.
Dilsha also pursued the course of Air Hostess from the Franklin Institute in Kerala. In 2014, she participated in the dance reality show D4 Dance Season 1 and ended up as the 4th runner-up.
Apart from that she also begged the Best Debut Female Award at the Asianet Television Awards in 2016. Just after a year, in 2017, she participated in reality show “Dare the Fear” and now in 2022, the 31 year old has been declared the winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4.
Prize Money
The show’s host Mohanlal handed over the trophy to Disha Prasannan, who gained a record number of public votes and emerged as the winner of the show. Along with the trophy, Mohanlal presented a cheque worth Rs. 50 lakh to her as the cash prize.
About the Show
Produced by Endemol Shine India and Banijay, the show started telecast from March 27, 2022 with the tagline “new normal” on Asianet. Mollywood superstar was the host of the show, he had been hosting it since Season 1 premiered. The show started with 20 contestants and aired for more than 3 months.

Finalists & Runner up
6 contestants Riyas Salim, Blesslee, Dilsha, Lakshmi Priya, Sooraj Thelakkad, and Dhanya Mary Varghese were the 6 finalists of the show and the latter 3 were eliminated in the grand finale while Dilsha, Blesselee and Riyaz were in top three.
Later, Riyas was evicted leaving Dilsha and Blessle as two top finalists of the show and finally Disha was crowned as the winner with Blessle finishing as the runner-up of the show.
All the evicted constants like Aswin, Naveen, Ronson, and others were presented in the finals and they performed dances and acts in different songs and made the finale amazing and fun to watch.
