1- Bumm Bumm Bole
Bumm Bumm Bole was the Indian Adaptation of Iranian Drama “Children of Heaven” which was released in the year 1998. The movie Bumm Bumm Bole was a children-centric movie but it should be watched by the audience of every age group.
It is a story about School going brother-sister duo, where the role of the brother was played by Darsheel Safari. The love and innocence of the pinu and Jhilmil is the focal point of the story.
The story revolves around siblings Pinu and Jhilmil, who shared an adorable bond with each other. It shows how they share one single piece of footwear when Jhilmil loses her shoes and the sibling-duo does not inform their parents about this.
Pinu decides to participate in a school marathon, aiming for the third position so that he can win a brand new pair of shoes for Jhilmil. The story is full of innocence and emotions and it shows how difficult times can be passed if you have support.
2- Sarabjit
If we are talking about movies based on Siblings how can we forget the movie based on true incidents titled Sarabjit. It shows how a sister fights against the entire system, government seeking the release of her brother from Pakistani Jail.
The character of Saranbjit was played by Randeep Hooda, who was in Pakistani Jail because he accidentally crosses the border and gets arrested by Pakistani Army.
The character of Dalbir Kaur (Sarabjit’s Sister) was played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who fights with the system to bring back her brother from Pakistan to India.
Dalbir Kaur went to Pakistan twice to meet her brother but even after so much effort she was unable to bring Sarabjit Back. This movie is a story of Struggle, courage and Patience of Dalbir Kaur and her family.
3- Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag will always be that one movie which can never get old. Although the movie was about the great Milkha Singh and the central theme of the movie was not the bond of brother and sister, it was definitely one of the important aspects of the film.
Milkha Singh’s sister Isri, played by Divya Dutta is a simple girl who doesn’t have much to say, she wants to become that perfect wife even when her husband is oppressing her, she doesn’t say a word.
But this sister gathers up enough courage and take a bold step when she takes a stand for her bother Milkha against her husband when he attempts to attack him (Milkha). It shows how Isri couldn’t recognise Milkha and became happier more than anything when he came to meet her. This one is for all those siblings who know they have built-in cheerleaders in the other half of their duo!
4- Dil Dhadakne Do
If we are talking about brother-sister bond, how come we forget Kabir and Ayesha played by Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, respectively in the movie Dil Dhadakne Do. They showed what a healthy brother-sister relationship looks like.
The bond between Kabir and Ayesha was impeccable, they were honest and loyal to each other and they always had each other’s back. The brother-sister duo don’t judge each other and they don’t let any personal or professional issue ever come in between them.

Satte pe satta is a story of 7 brothers which shows how after the death of their parents the eldest brother Ravi Anand becomes the guardian to his other six siblings. His dictatorship and measures to get things done frustrate his brothers and thus they grow up like animals and this becomes their life-style.
Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) meets with a nurse, Indu (Hema Malini) and both fall in love and get married. After marriage Indu moves in with the Anands and gets shock by their way of living. She even try to change their lifestyle. The movie Satte pe Satta is a delightful movie about siblings and their amusing behaviour with moments of emotions and love.
6- My Brother Nikhil
My Brother Nikhil is the movie that reiterates what sibling-relationships are meant for and how they can support each other in every aspect of their life. Nikhil is a swimming champion with a soft, passionate, and artistic side. Life takes a turn when he gets diagnosed with HIV and is subsequently abandoned by his friends and parents.
The one person who doesn’t leave his side throughout was his sister Anamika played by Juhi Chawala. Even when Nikhil lost his spot on the swim team and was isolated by the authorities, Anamika was the only one who stood beside him.
Anamika helps him build his life back and starts an organisation to raise awareness of people with similar fates. This movie is definitely a must watch.

Deewar movie was released in the year 1975 and this movie stars Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan as brothers and their father leave them and they were raised by their mother the elder brother Vijay Verma played by Amitabh Bachchan becomes a criminal while the younger brother Ravi Verma becomes a Police Officer.
The movie showcases the story of two brothers who fight till the very end of the story and both of them believe that their point of view is correct.
10- Fiza
Fiza is a crime thriller movie in which Karishma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan played the role of sister and brother. The movie is based on 1993 Bombay riots. In the movie Karishma Kapoor played the role of Fiza Ikramullah and Hrithik played the role of younger brother, Amaan Ikramullah.
During 1993 Mumbai Riots and Amaan went missing and because of this neither Fiza nor her mother were able to find Amaan. But Fiza continued her search and she came to know that her brother has joined a terrorist group. The movie is full of drama and emotions.
