Veteran Bhojpuri Actor Brijesh Tripathi passed away at the age of 72. Brijesh Tripathi is best known for being featured in the Bollywood movie, ‘Gharwali Baharwali.’
He has worked in over 250 films in Bollywood. Brijesh Tripathi has worked alongside renowned personalities such as Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajinikanth, Ravi Kishan, Dharmendra, and Vinod Khanna, among others.
Reflecting on the loss, Ravi Kishan, the film actor, and Gorakhpur MP, expressed his sentiments, stating, “We had done about 100 films with Brijesh Tripathi ji, his departure is the departure of an era from the Bhojpuri film industry. May God adorn his virtuous soul with the highest honor from heaven”.
Brijesh Tripathi Death Reason
According to sources, Brijesh Tripathi had contracted dengue two weeks ago and was receiving treatment at a hospital in Meerut. Unfortunately, upon his recent return to Mumbai, he suffered a heart attack last night. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the doctors pronounced him dead. The family, residing in Mumbai, conducted the last rites today, on December 18, 2023.
About Brijesh Tripathi
With a career spanning more than four decades, he entered the film industry in 1979 with his debut movie “Saiya Tohare Kaaran.” In 1980, he made his entry into Hindi cinema with “Taxi Chor.” Before venturing into the Bhojpuri industry, he had a stint in Bollywood.
Apart from his cinematic journey, he has contributed to numerous TV series. Some of his notable film credits include “Hamar Bodyguard Shiva,” “Driver Raja,” “Piya Chandani,” “Ram Krishna Bajrangi,” and “Janta Darbar,” among others.
