American computer animation studio Pixar has joined hands with Disney for their upcoming animated feature film Elemental, that is going to be released soon. It is the 27th film of the studio.
The project is helmed by Peter Sohn who is best known for directing The Good Dinosaur (2015) and animated short film Partly Cloudy and is bankrolled by Denise Ream who worked on The Good Dinosaur with Sohn and Pixar’s Cars 2 in 2011.
Sohn revealed that the idea for Elemental came from the experiences he gain while growing up in New York. He further told that his parents emigrated from Korea in the early 1970s and built a bustling grocery store in the Bronx. The directors family was among the families who came to a new land with hopes and dreams- a mixture of cultural, languages, and beautiful little neighbourhoods he witnessed in the childhood was what led him to Elemental.
Elemental Release Date
On Monday, May 17th, 2022, the makers of this animated movie revealed its official release date along with its logo and concept art poster featuring Ember, a fire character and Wade, a water character. It has been confirmed that the film is going to have a summer release on June 16th 2023. Have a look:

However, its is currently unconfirmed whether the film will be yet another Disney+ release for Pixar, or a theatrical release like Lightyear, Pixar and Disney’s animated sci-fi drama film, inspired by the iconic Buzz Lightyear character from the Toy Story series, which is scheduled to be release on this Father’s Day weekend on June 17th, 2022 and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
About the Film
The plot of this animated film revolves around an unlikely pair, a fiery young woman Ember and a go-with-the-flow guy Wade. Both of them lived in a city where fire, water, land and air residents live together, and is going to discover something elemental like How much they have in common.
Elemental Voice Cast
Pixar animation studios has not revealed the star cast, that is going to give their voices to the characters going to featured in this animated series. It is expected to be revealed in the upcoming days. We will update the information as soon as the makers give any update regarding this.
