Gadar 2 vs Other New Releases
If we talk about new Bollywood releases, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is still winning hearts but streaming in theatres from 28th July 2023. The same Day release OMG 2 has less craze but receives positive reviews among cinemagoers.
OMG 2 has made more than 80 Crores at the Indian Box Office, but Gadar 2 is far ahead, gathering a whopping 280 Crores+ in just 7 days.
Gadar 2 isn’t generating as much excitement in the southern part of the country. Movies like Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ and Chiranjeevi’s ‘Bhola Shankar’ are already playing in the theatres there. However, in North India, ‘Gadar 2’ is leading the way among other releases and is the top choice for Independence Day 2023.

Gadar 2 is the ideal movie to release on Independence Day, and audiences are showing a lot of love for the India-Pakistan dialogues in the film. The action scenes and Indo-Pak clash are plus points. If we start looking for logical aspects, we might not find it to be the right choice as a movie.
However, Gadar 2 is expected to comfortably surpass the 370 Crore milestone in the domestic market. Based on its current performance at the Box Office, the movie could potentially achieve a lifetime business of over 450 crores.
