Happy Teachers’ Day is an upcoming social-thriller film which is directed by Mikhil Musale in his third directorial venture following Gujarati thriller film “Wrong Side Raju” (2016), for which he won National Film Award for Best Feature Film Gujarati in the 64th National Film Awards, and the other one being 2019 Hindi comedy film Made in China.

Happy Teachers’ Day Cast & Crew
Produced by Dinesh Vijan of Stree, Hindi Medium, Luka Chuppi, Badlapur, Love Aaj Kal and Cocktail under his Maddock Films banner , the film stars Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan in the lead roles.
Nimrat was last seen in social comedy film Dasvi alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam while young and promising actress Radhika Madan has appeared in recently released romantic drama film Shiddat opposite Sonny Kaushal.
The film’s story and screenplay are written by director Musale in association with Parinda Joshi whereas Anu Singh Chaudhary and Kshitij Patwardhan have penned the additional screenplay and dialogues of the film.
Happy Teachers’ Day Announcement
Today, on September 5, 2022, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the makers announced this social thriller film via an announcement video. The 37-second long video begins by highlighting that teachers educate, enlighten, empower and shape our lives, it ends on a deep and thought provoking question- “But can’t they have a life?”
The video also shows a couple of comments and it is clear that it is against a female teacher.
Happy Teachers’ Day Release Date
The makers of the film have also revealed the release date of the film. Interestingly, the film announced on this Teachers’ Day, will be released on the next Teachers’ Day on September 5, 2023. The film’s shoot has also begun today. The vast majority of the film’s details are currently under wraps and we will get to know more about the film in the upcoming day.
