Though there are movies like Mohalla Assi and Indu Sarkar which got delayed for their release because of the controversial topics of the films, they got theatrically released after winning the case in the court, several Bollywood films are uncensored and controversial but however released in theaters.

The film was banned by the Bombay high court after the petition filed by Mustaq Moosa Tarani, one of the accused of bomb blasts. It is available on Hotstar.
