Hollywood star Daniel Craig is all set to return on the screens with the sequel of his 2019 superhit mystery film Knives Out, it is directed, written, and co-produced by Rian Johnson.
Knives out appeared in cinemas in Nov 2019, and against a 40 million dollar budget (INR 298 crores approx), it garnered a huge chunk of footfalls at the ticket windows amassing around 311 million dollars (In Indian Rupees 2322 crores approximately) at the Box Office Worldwide.
Knives out 3 in the pipeline?
Following the success, makers decided to turn the film into a franchise and according to reports, in March 2021, Netflix has outbid others by acquiring the sequels right reportedly for 469 million dollars (INR 3503 crores approx.).
Thereby, we will also witness Knives Out 3 after Knives out 2, and acc to sources the script for the former has also been completed by Johnson.
In June 2021 director and writer of Knives Out 2, Rian Johanson took to Twitter to inform the fans that the filming has begun in Greece. while the whole shooting concluded in Sept 2021.

Along with Daniel, Knives out features an ensemble new star cast David Bautista (WWE Wrestler and actor), Edward Norton (Three oscar award nominee), Janelle Monae (singer-rapper), Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson (Almost famous fame), Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks series fame), Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones and Star Wars fame), and Four-time Oscar award nominee actor Ethan Hawke.
First Look
Recently Netflix through a close to a 3-minute first looks video clip of their upcoming films of the year 2022, also showed a glimpse of the first look of Knives out. And as per the glimpse of the movie, Daniel Craig (James Bond film series fame) is returning for the upcoming sequel as detective Benoit Blanc.

The official announcement by the makers on 23rd of Aug, the film is slated to hit the screens by Dec 23rd 2022.

Knives Out 3 Budget
Knives Out 2 is financed by Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman under the banner T-Street, and reportedly it is produced on a budget of 30 to 50 million dollars budget (INR 224-373 crores approx). Reports also suggested that Daniel is being paid more than 100 million dollars (Rs 747 crores approx) to reprise his roles in the upcoming two films.
