Disney+Hotstar has finally revealed the date of its most-awaited six part documentary series Light & Magic, based on the legendary work of World’s renowned special visual effect division of Lucasfilms “Industrial Light & Magic” (ILM).
The Disney+Hotstar’s original series executive produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Justin Wilkes, Lawrence Kasdan, Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Rejwan is set to premiere its all six-episodes on July 27, 2022 on the platform. So save the date to enjoy the inspiring journey and behind the scene-struggle of ILM.

Trailer & Plot
Along with revealing the released date of the show, the makers also released its trailer. The series covers the whole journey of popular American Motion picture visual effect company “Industrial Light & Magic”, from how it started to how it reached milestones, all the aspects of it will be covered in the series.
ILM was founded on May 26, 1975 by popular Hollywood filmmaker and entrepreneur George Lucas. It is the division of the filmmaker’s production company Lucasfilms.
ILM was behind the never-seen-before visual effects of the popular Star War franchise. Today it is the most in-demand VFX creator in Hollywood. Over the years it has contributed to over 350 films winning 16 Oscars, 33 Sci-Tech awards and 3 Emmy Awards.
