Bollywood’s ace director Anurag Basu, who is known for his blockbuster movies such as Murder, Gangster, Life in a… Metro, Barfi! etc., has joined hands with producer Bhushan Kumar for his upcoming romantic drama film titled Metro… In Dino.
Previously, it was reported that Basu wants to make a sequel to his critically acclaimed 2007 urban anthology film Life in a Metro, which was a commercial success and won three Filmfare Awards, sequel seems like much-awaited Hindi Romantic Drama of 2023.

The Urban Anthology film features Bollywood’s budding actor Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role, with beautiful Sara Ali Khan playing his love interest in the film.
Aditya Roy Kapur’s last release, the action thriller Rashtra Kavach Om was disaster at Box Office, failed to make comeback again, the Aashiqui 2 actor needs a good scripts now as he is struggling for success like blockbuster Aashiqui 2.
Apart from Aditya and Sara, the film also stars Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, and veteran actors Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. Actress Konkona Sen Sharma, who played a crucial role in Life in a… Metro, will also feature in the film Metro In Dino.

This multi-starrer film has got the release date, fans have to wait for this film till 8th of Dec 2023. Metro In Dino is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu and Taani Basu.
Now, almost 15 years after the release of ‘Life in a Metro’, T-Series has officially announced Metro In Dino, putting an end to speculation. Basu, who last directed Netflix’s crime comedy film Ludo, has expressed his excitement for the new project.

The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar under his T-Series Films banner, reunites Anurag Basu with Bollywood’s popular music composer Pritam for the upcoming romantic anthology film.
Pritam also composed the music for Life in a Metro and Ludo, Basu’s most recent films. His music in the previous film added life to the characters and story; now he is all set to spread the magic with his music in the upcoming film.
