The series is directed by debutantes Satish Nair and Rahul Pandey while it is being showrunned by Naren Kumar. Pandey is also the writer of the series. It is jointly bankrolled by Naren Kumar and Mahesh Karode under the banner of Kyra Kumar Kreations. Rohit Sharma has composed the music and background score of the series.
Talking about the star cast, actor Vaibhav Tatwawadi, popularly known for playing the role of Bajirao’s younger brother Chimaji Appa in Ranveer Singh starrer Bajirao Mastani (2015), is playing the role of Nirmal Pathak in the series.
The show also stars actor Akash Makhija of Half Girlfriend as Nirmal’s younger brother Aatish Pathak, Pankaj Jha as Nirmal’s uncle Makhanlal Pathak. Other than these actors, the series also features Alka Amin, Vineet Kumar, Kumar Saurabh, Garima Singh, Ishita Ganguly, Stuti Trivedi, Tanishq Rana, Meenakshi Chugh and Neha Pandey in pivotal roles.

The trailer of the drama series was released on May 7, 2022, the nearly 3 minute long stars with a voiceover introducing Nirmal Pathak (Vaibhav Tatwawadi) as the closest friend of Salman Khan. Further it shows Nirmal Pathak visiting his small village in Buxar, after a long time and people celebrating his home-coming like that of a popular celebrity.
As he starts seeing the environment of the village, it doesn’t take long for him to figure out that the place still runs by casteism, sexism, patriarchy and illiteracy. In the trailer we can also see Nirmal raising his voice against these biased rules but the people of the village take it as a disrespect to them.
Will Nirmal Pathak use his knowledge and resources for the betterment of his village and will he be successful in eradicating the biased and oppressive system is what the story is all about.
