The news of Pankaj Udhas’s death was confirmed by his daughter, Nayaab Udhas. She took to social media to share a statement about her father’s passing.
The last rites for the late singer Pankaj Udhas will be carried out today (February 27), according to his family. After the final darshan, his cremation will take place in Worli between 3 and 5 p.m. People in the political and cinematic industries will show up to give Pankaj Udhas their final respects.
Pankaj Udhas Cause of Death
According to Pankaj Udhas’s daughter, Nayyab Udhas, the legendary singer passed away due to a prolonged illness. Several other singers and artists from the Hindi music industry condoled the death of Pankaj Udhas.
Anup Jalota, a good friend of the late Pankaj Udhas, revealed that his friend had been suffering from pancreatic cancer for a long time. Jalota said he had known this information for almost five to six months.
Versatile singer Sonu Nigam wrote, “One of the most important parts of my childhood is lost today. Shri Pankaj Udhas ji, I will miss you forever. My heart cries knowing that you are no more. Thank you for being there. Om Shanti.” Sanjay Gupta also offered his condolences. “Heartbreaking. Pankaj Udhas Ji has passed away. May his soul rest in peace. Thank you for the music,” he added.
