India’s own digital platform ZEE5, which has gained so much popularity in the past few years, due to variety of its content, come with the premiere of lighthearted bilingual web-series Paper Rocket.
Touted-to-be a comedy drama series, Paper Boat is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi who is the wife of actor-filmmaker-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin and daughter-in-law of the current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin.
Paper Rocket is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi who was also the director of Vanakkam Chennai which was released in 2013 and she received much appreciation for that.
The series marks the third directorial venture of Kiruthiga following 2013 romantic comedy Vanakkam Chennai which received much appreciation from the masses and 2018 historic action drama Kaali which failed to impress the audience.
Now, Kiruthimnga is all set to make a comeback and it would be interesting to see what she has to offer.
Paper Rocket Star Cast
The bilingual drama series has very promising and talented star cast including Kalidas Jayaram, Tanya Ravichandran, Gouri G. Kishan, K. Renuka, Karunakaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Dr. Dheeraj, Nagineedu V., Chinni Jayanth, Kaali Venkat, Poornima Bhagyaraj, G.M. Kumar, Abhishek and Priyadarshini.
The Zee5 original series is presented by Rise East Entertainment and produced by Sreenidhi Sagar. On the technical front, Richard M. Nathan is cranking the camera, Lawrence Kishore is handling the editing work.
Music
The music in the series is composed by Dharan Kumar whereas the background score is composed by Simon K. King. seven beautiful tracks- Cheranaadu, Vaana Veetilae, Jo Jo Jo, Kandaen Kandaen, Oraayiram Jenmam, Oru kanni, Kaalai Maalai,and Iruvizhi have already been released so far and are loved by people. Paper Rocket OTT Release Date & Review
The Zee5 original series premieres this on the platform on July 29, 2022 in Tamil and Telugu languages, receiving positive reviews, South Indian Movie Analyst Ramesh Bala gives 3.5 stars out of 5.

The plot of the series centers around the aging parents and their children, who travel a little journey together to explore nature and a peaceful ambiance despite their health-related issues and other differences.
